For the creation *Résonances Var.2*
Originally from Rwanda and based in Marseille, Dorothée Munyaneza is a musician, writer and choreographer. Her work draws on reality to explore memory and the body, both individual and collective. Through her creations, she pays particular attention to silenced voices, stories that have been rendered invisible and the traces left by history.
Following several collaborations spanning music, dance and performance, she founded the Kadidi company in 2013. There, she develops work in which song, text, music and movement intertwine to explore issues of memory, transmission and healing. Her creations are staged on international stages.
In residence at the CCNN’s Accueil-Studio programme from 28 June to 2 July, a scheme supported by the Ministry of Culture / DRAC Pays de la Loire.
Residency showcase on 1 July at 7.00 pm at the CCNN, as part of the ‘Jeudi, À l’œuvre’ series.
