Les Terrains de danse
During the school holidays, Les Terrains de danse offers teenagers a multi-day immersion programme alongside guest artists. Dancing, learning, exploring, inventing and creating together: these are all ways of entering the world of choreography and building a shared experience. Each session concludes with a performance for the public, extending the experience beyond the studio.
Les danses Swing avec Clélia Moreau
From Jazz Roots to Lindy Hop, Clélia Moreau from the Korp(u)s dance company introduces 15–17-year-olds to the world of swing dancing. Over four days, participants explore rhythm, improvisation, listening and their relationship with music through group practice. Throughout the ‘Terrain de danse’ programme, they also discover the histories and influences that link these dances, which have their roots in African-American cultures, to today’s hip-hop dances, particularly House. The workshop concludes with a performance open to the public as part of the ‘Jeudi, À l’œuvre’ series.

De toutes nos danses
A choreographic immersion programme for and with young people
What if dance became a space where young people could create, tell stories and invent together? *De toutes nos danses* is a choreographic project bringing together teenagers from Nantes. Inspired by dances of African descent, particularly Lindy Hop, it combines meetings with artists, workshops, performances and creative sessions. Guided by dancers from the CCNN, participants will devise a collective work drawing on their stories, imaginations and cultures.
Join the adventure! Are you aged between 14 and 17? Do you love dancing… or have you never dared to try? *De toutes nos danses* is open to everyone, with no prior experience required. Over several months, you’ll discover artists, attend performances, try out different dance styles and take part in creating a choreographed piece to be performed at the CCNN and other partner venues. A collective adventure to create, share, build confidence and make your voice heard through movement.
