The CCNN supports teachers, students, dancers and aspiring professionals through programmes designed in collaboration with its partners. Workshops, courses, research sessions and practical sessions foster a dialogue between knowledge, movement and experience. Ensuring that the tradition of dance is carried forward.
Students | University of Nantes | Learning through the body
Developed in collaboration with the Department of Educational Sciences at the University of Nantes, the ‘Learning through the Body’ module offers third-year undergraduates and future primary school teachers a sensory approach to teaching. Through the experience of movement and dance, it encourages students to explore the links between the body, learning and knowledge transfer. It provides a way of reflecting on their future role as teachers and of imagining alternative ways of connecting with pupils.
Students | University of Nantes | Choreography workshop
Students on the Choreography Workshop will be supported and given the opportunity to work directly with schoolchildren, as part of a programme centred on Salia Sanou’s aesthetic within the framework of the installation *D’un lointain si proche*, in partnership with *Le Lieu Unique*. This collaboration offers these future teachers their first hands-on experience of teaching in a real-world setting, in line with the focus on young people, training and the transmission of knowledge within Salia Sanou’s artistic project for the Centre Chorégraphique National de Nantes.
Students | Le Pont Supérieur
With a rich array of varied offerings, Lise Fassier and Vincent Blanc continue their commitment to students preparing for the Pont Supérieur’s Technical Aptitude Examination in contemporary dance. Back-to-term courses, technical classes, improvisation and composition workshops… Every effort is made to support them on their journey towards passing the exam and to enable them to explore the full range of possibilities in contemporary dance.
Primary school teachers | DSDEN
In partnership with the DSDEN, this training course examines the relationships that develop within Arts and Cultural Education projects. Through sessions dedicated to discussion, reflection and role-play, participants explore the ways in which teachers and artists complement one another, examine their respective perceptions and experiment with different ways of building a collaborative relationship that supports pupils’ learning journeys.
Secondary school teachers | DRAEAC
Organised as part of the Academic Training Programme in collaboration with the DRAEAC, this one-day event invites participants to explore the many forms of writing by creating a dialogue between the body, movement, drawing and words. Through sensory and creative experiences, each participant discovers how movement can become a source of narratives, traces and a variety of creative outputs, opening up new perspectives for teaching practices.
Choreography course for teachers
The dance programme organised by the CCNN, the Théâtre Francine Vasse and the French Ministry of Education continues this season. Aimed at primary and secondary school teachers, it offers a year of performances, workshops and meetings designed to deepen their understanding of dance and open up new perspectives in their arts and cultural education practices. A showcase of the programme will take place on 25 March at 7.00 pm.
Education and culture professionals | Let’s dare to dance in contact
Organised by Passeurs de danse in partnership with the CCNN, this national workshop will bring together, from 23 to 25 October 2026, teachers, students and professionals from the fields of education, culture, outreach and care. Three days to explore touch in dance through practice and reflection. From self-perception to encountering the other, participants will experience touch as a process of constant attunement and will explore the spaces, boundaries and harmonies that enable us to ‘feel with’ the other – in other words, to co-feel.
