Le Centre

Le Centre

Durée : 1h

Finding one’s place amongst others. Rebuilding connections.

In *Le Centre*, Khoudia Touré explores the evolution of gestures, traditions and rhythms as traces of existence. The piece draws on the rituals through which individuals transform everyday life, rebuild social bonds and rediscover a form of freedom.
Drawing on hip-hop culture, she turns the circle into a space where no one is marginalised. The centre shifts within it, moving from one presence to another, bringing bodies together and generating a shared energy. Dancers and musicians respond to one another, and the vibrations spread. Through a blend of inherited gestures and ancestral movements, *Le Centre* sketches out a way of building community.
