In *Mawu*, Jade Lada imagines a quartet shaped as much by what unites them as by what divides them. Drawing on Voodoo culture and the power of ritual, the Creation brings together visible and invisible memories, intuitions and diverse legacies. The bodies are drawn to one another, support one another, sometimes fall out of step, then seek a shared rhythm. In a world marked by divisions, the piece explores our ability to come together as a collective without erasing our individuality.
